There are moments in life when I look back and wonder: What if I knew then what I know now?<\/em> Not because I want to rewrite my story, but because I want to embrace that younger version of me\u2014the one who didn\u2019t have the answers, who carried hope in one hand and fear in the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could sit across from her\u2014wide-eyed, uncertain, quietly brave\u2014I wouldn’t overwhelm her with advice. I\u2019d say just one thing. And maybe, that one thing would have softened her edges sooner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou are enough, exactly as you are.\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Not when you get the degree.
Not when you land the job.
Not when someone chooses you.
Not when your body looks different.
Not when life feels more stable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right now. As you are.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t have to hustle to prove your worth. You don\u2019t have to shrink to fit in. You don\u2019t have to pretend to have it all together. Your existence is already valid. Your voice already matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

I’d tell her: It\u2019s okay not to have it all figured out<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s no deadline for becoming who you are. The path you think you should be on might shift a hundred times\u2014and that\u2019s not failure, that\u2019s living. Plans will change. People will leave. Doors will close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But each twist and turn will carry a lesson. Even the mess will have meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

I’d tell her: Stop being so hard on yourself<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You will make mistakes\u2014some big, some small. You will say the wrong things, love the wrong people, stay too long in some places, and leave too soon from others. But that\u2019s how you\u2019ll learn. That\u2019s how you\u2019ll grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t need to be perfect to be lovable. You don\u2019t need to be flawless to be deserving of grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

I’d tell her: Protect your peace<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Not every battle is worth fighting. Not every invitation deserves your yes. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is walk away\u2014with your dignity, your silence, and your sanity intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t owe everyone access to your energy. You\u2019re allowed to rest. You\u2019re allowed to say no. You\u2019re allowed to choose you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’d tell her: Love will not always look like you imagined<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Some love will feel like fire\u2014intense, bright, and consuming. But it will burn you if you\u2019re not careful. Other love will feel like quiet rain\u2014gentle, consistent, and healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learn to tell the difference. Choose the love that feels like home, not a battlefield. And remember: the most important love story is the one you have with yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’d tell her: You are allowed to outgrow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll change\u2014and so will your dreams, your beliefs, your relationships. That doesn\u2019t make you fake or disloyal. It makes you human.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growth sometimes means leaving behind what no longer fits, even if it once felt like everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

And finally, I’d tell her this\u2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One day, you\u2019ll look back and be so proud of how far you\u2019ve come. Of the strength you didn\u2019t know you had. Of the lessons you had to learn the hard way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll realize that even in your most uncertain seasons, you were becoming something beautiful. That you weren\u2019t lost\u2014you were just unfolding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So breathe. Trust the process. You\u2019re doing better than you think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If there\u2019s something you wish your younger self had known, take a moment to write it down. You don\u2019t need a perfect paragraph\u2014just a truth that still rings loud today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
